Tools & Weaponry
Practical tools and weaponry are other common examples of ancient Eurasian bronze-work. Like ornaments, they needed to be light yet durable, especially since these items were being used on a daily basis for various purposes; however, they are no less decorative and intricate in their design. These tools would range from those used by shamans in religious rituals to knives, axes, and other tools that were necessary for daily survival in order to cut food, vegetation, and wood, but also to hunt and skin animals. Weapons for battle were much less common, but still present, and these instruments for battle were generally not used in the daily lives of the nomadic steppe people.
