Tlingit
"Cylindrical baskets with lids are quite typical of the Tlingit. Often the lids are 'rattle lids', which would make noise whenever the basket was moved. Most baskets are made by either the plaiting of cedar bark or twining of Sitka spruce root, maidenhair fern, or bear grass. Decorations are either stylized animals painted in native pigments, false embroidery, or dyed plaiting elements."
